XWindows Dock 2.0.3 Simply Launcher For Windows 7

XWindows Dock is a Windows desktop organizer and program launcher that adopts the popular Mac OS X dock design for an eye-candy desktop enhancement.
The created dock indeed looks great and that’s a very good thing when dealing with such an application, but it’s worth mentioning that XWindows Dock comes with plenty of features to play with for a fully customized appearance.
While the dock is automatically placed on the desktop once you launch the program, XWindows Dock allows you to add not only shortcuts that can be accessed with a single click, but also files, folders, stacks, galleries and separators to keep things organized on the dock.

The photo gallery icon provides instant previews of the photos included in the selected folder, with a monitoring feature to automatically update the thumbnails as you add new pictures.

  1. Screen reservation on Windows XP issue fixed.
  2. Multi-monitor configuration issue fixed.
  3. New API allows to simply control the application's icon in the dock. It can be implemented with any programming language, by default it's C# (.net required).
  4. Plugin manager for plugins developed with new API added.
  5. Feature: popup dock when mouse is over when dock is not over all windows
  6. New application icons are added automatically if they are not in the dock yet. This feature is experimental and disabled by default.
  7. Some compatibility with x64 Windows builds. Now without notifications added.
  8. You'll get 2 great plugins with the new Plugin manager : new stack container with fan/grid views, realistic scrolling and ability to navigate through folders. Another one, simple GMail checker, that simply shows unread email count in the dock (direct internet access and .net framework required).
